I have been involved with horses, and owned horses, for over 30 years, competing up to BE Novice in my youth.  Nowadays, I stick to dressage, competing BD Novice and UA Elementary.  I also breed dressage/sports horses.

I have experienced the difference a well-fitted and suitable bit can make. I found the right bit for my horse, Harvey through luck rather than judgement, but we immediately increased our dressage scores by 8-10% and the difference it made to his general demeanour & way of going was astounding.  

This motivated me to become a qualified Bit & Bridle Fitting Consultant so I can help others achieve their potential by removing bit & bridle related issues that impede a clear & harmonious connection between horse & rider.

In 2024, I joined Dr. David Marlin's AnimalWeb Expert Panel

Based in West Wales, I cover Ceredigion and surrounding counties (other locations by arrangement).
